A prestigious Serie A sports club chose us to design and build the new changing rooms for their women’s team, with the goal of combining technical functionality and high-level design.
Beyond the container changing room
The project stems from the assembly of twelve prefabricated modules, configured to create a complex and totally independent structure. These are not simple modules, but an advanced facility solution that integrates:
- Changing and wellness area: spacious and comfortable areas dedicated to the athletes, with shower and bathroom zones designed to handle high-traffic flows in full compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
- Integrated technical room: a technological core that manages the entire systems engineering of the complex.
- Energy efficiency: the structure is equipped with solar panels for clean energy production, as well as heating and cooling systems to ensure thermal comfort in every season.
Aesthetics and architectural integration: the value of design
One of the main challenges was the aesthetic integration with the pre-existing building. To meet the club’s need for elegance and visual consistency, we meticulously crafted the exterior design:
- PVC slat facade: we opted for an exterior slatted cladding made of advanced polymeric material.
- Two-Tone effect: the use of a dual-color scheme allowed us to “mask” the modular nature of the structure, ensuring a modern aesthetic that blends perfectly with the surrounding architecture.
