Autonomous kitchen truck: fine dining and logistical support anywhere

In the landscape of mobile catering and logistical support, the ability to reach challenging locations while maintaining industrial production standards is a crucial advantage. Our latest chassis-mounted project represents the new frontier of kitchens on wheels: a 9.30-meter vehicle, drivable with a Category C license, which packs the power of a true professional kitchen into 18 square meters.

Unlike traditional semi-trailers, which often face insurmountable maneuverability limits in historic city centers or mountain settings, this kitchen truck combines superior logistical agility with the capacity to prepare fresh meals for hundreds of people. Simple food regeneration is no longer enough: we bring express cooking and maximum freshness exactly to the site of operations.

Designed for Emergencies, Film Sets, and Major Events

This “stand-alone” solution was engineered in our workshop to slash setup times and meet the immediate operational needs of various sectors:

  • Civil Protection and Rescue Organizations: a fundamental logistical asset for base camps. Thanks to the vehicle’s agility, it can rapidly reach disaster-stricken areas (even with compromised road networks), guaranteeing continuous hot meals for rescuers and the population.
  • Film Production Catering: the ideal solution for following crews into historic centers or isolated natural locations. It guarantees high-quality catering for cast and crew, in full compliance with tight production schedules.
  • Major Events, Trade Fairs, and Festivals: whether it’s an international sporting event, a concert, or exclusive banqueting in a historic villa without fixed facilities, this vehicle allows for the management of hundreds of guests while maintaining the food safety and quality of a high-end restaurant.

Technical Specifications and Autonomy

The true revolution of this project is the ability to park and activate a totally independent 18 sqm kitchen laboratory, free from the need for immediate external utility connections.

  • High-Capacity Operational Layout: the fit-out maximizes workflow ergonomics. Equipment includes a 6-burner cooking line, a 2-tank pasta cooker, a tilting bratt pan, a fry top, a professional oven, refrigerated counters, and a vital blast chiller for total food safety.
  • Systems and Total Independence: the vehicle operates in full autonomy thanks to an integrated diesel power generator (with a dedicated tank) and a water system featuring a 300-liter fresh water tank and waste-water recovery.
  • Advanced Climate Control: a heating and cooling air conditioning system guarantees perfect comfort for the kitchen crew in any season and every weather condition.
  • Smart Logistical Accessibility: the vehicle is equipped with a rear hydraulic lift-gate with a retractable canopy (ideal for loading goods and as a serving pass during service) and a covered side entrance to separate staff workflows.
